Hyundai has unveiled the racing version of the Ioniq 5 N electric car

Hyundai has officially unveiled the new racing version of the electric car Ioniq 5 N, which will participate in the exciting championship called the Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup. The season’s opening is scheduled for the end of April of this year, with the first race set for April 27th. Hyundai representatives are confident that this new series and the sports car will drive the development of electric car racing. Interestingly, the racing car is based on the same platform as the production model.

However, the novelty has received slightly more power — 650 hp compared to 609 hp in the standard version. Additionally, the racing car is equipped with a larger capacity battery.

Changes have been made to the aerodynamics, including the installation of a racing spoiler, as well as reducing the weight of the car’s body.

Meanwhile, there is information that renting the electric Hyundai Ioniq 6 will become a more advantageous option than purchasing it.
