What new models will be developed based on the 2024 Dodge Charger?
Dodge has refreshed its legendary Charger model by introducing a vehicle in 2024 that blends classic style elements with a new platform from Stellantis. This platform accommodates both electric and internal combustion engines, offering consumers a diverse range of options.
Among the promising models is the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton / Opel Lotus Omega. Additionally, a dozen coupes and sedans from Stellantis could be reimagined using the new Charger platform, opening up new opportunities for the automaker.
While Geely, a Chinese company, may not be keen on offering its Lotus brand for this joint project, Stellantis is ready to revive a range of iconic models for various markets and audiences, leaving Charger in the past.
One potential option is the Chrysler 300C. According to Western insiders, it will take the brand around 26 years to revive the 300 model for the new era. It is expected that the updated version of the car will be unveiled in 2026.
Earlier it was reported that owners of Dodge Charger/Chrysler 300 cars may encounter issues with the functioning of airbags. An American automaker has recalled 284,000 vehicles due to detected malfunctions with the airbag inflators. Despite this, the problems are not associated with the well-known manufacturer Takata.
